The Kubotan is a simple and discreet means of self-defense. This small baton is about the size of a thick permanent marker with a key ring. It is inconspicuous and can be easily carried and concealed as a pendant. It can be used as a punch amplifier and allows men and women to land effective hits even with little physical strength. With a little training, locks can also be executed and pressure points attacked.
In addition to the history, types of kubotan and anatomical targets, the first chapter explains the various grip positions, attack angles and types of application. Next, defense combinations against various attacks are shown. These are divided into attacks with and without contact, grip approaches, combined attacks and attacks with the stick. A further chapter deals with defense with everyday objects. Various drills and SV situations round off the instructional film.
